Krakonoš Hotel *** is ideal for pursuit of winter sports for its location at Mariánské Lázně. Area for skiers and cross country tracks are always well available.

Downhill skiing - the area is located just 100 meters from the hotel

Modern ski resort was opened in December 2004. There are downhill track at the funicular railway and lighted and sounded slalom slope available for skiers. The artificial snow around the area and its northern orientation is indisputable advantage. The slope is daily traeted by modern technology and also offers excellent opportunities for night skiing. Location of the area on the outskirts of the spa center with beautiful views of the Marianske Lazne is unique.

Cross-country trails

Protected landscape area the Slavkov Forest offers ideal conditions for cross-country skiing. This is a slightly undulating terrain of the plateau above all and its relatively high altitude (750-900 m) positively affects the snow. There is a modern technology to create cross-country tracks. All the tracks are freely accessible.

Golf course area

It offers a dense net of machine-prepared tracks. The length of the standard range is approximately 2.3 kilometers tracks both for classic and skating technique. Ideal both for sports skiers and families with children.

Marked trails

The routes connectes with the resort of golf course. Machine-prepared tracks especially for the classic technique.

Other routes

In particular, there are cross-country trails copying the marked footpath in the wider area of Marianske Lazne. The track is usually created by other skiers. Ideal for winter ski tourism.

Tip: Use cable cars and a connecting running track (approx 1km) to transport to the area of golf course. No need to monitor the car or to watch bus timetables. One-way fare 35 Kč, 50Kč return fare.
